Who we are
Adriano, originally from Brescia and from Mantua by adoption, was born professionally as a restorer of paintings and frescoes and then continued as an interior designer and made good taste a way of life.
Claudio, who graduated in languages and then an artisan in the field of fashion, makes beauty and style a unique and recognizable strength.
Our Story
Together in 2005 we opened an amateur cooking school, RESIDENZA PAULONIA, which after countless successes and awards was transformed into a “restaurant”, that is, a meeting, tasting and sharing place where we met only on Saturday evening: a sort of invitation to friends' homes with ever-changing atmospheres and menus and with the spirit of transmitting our knowledge and experiences around the world.
This feeling of ours continues with the opening of RESIDENZA PAULONIA FORESTERIA, to continue to share an environment of style and elegance that arise from “L'Art de Vivre”, the pleasure of beauty and harmony.
Our will is to make you feel at ease in a sophisticated and precious comfort and to receive you for family lunches in our large dining room or in our summer space.
Ours is a place of love where you can meet, read a book in total silence, talk in absolute comfort in an enchanted world where you can find the pleasure of heavenly food that Claudio prepares with the passion and expertise of a long personal and professional experience, rediscovering with long stories that pleasure of time that passes slower but that can enrich the soul!

What does Foresteria Lombarda mean?
The Foresteria Lombarda is a type of accommodation facility with no more than 6 rooms and the possibility of administering food and drinks.
Is it possible to have dinner at the residence?
Not every day; generally when the owner decides to prepare dinner, he alerts guests in the morning.

Yes, each room is equipped with Wi-Fi and a smart TV.
Is the facility open all year round?
The property is closed in July and August.
Does the residence have parking?
There is the possibility of free parking in the street outside the residence. It will be possible to enter the courtyard to unload luggage.

We provide bed linen and towels, including bathrobes.

Yes, there are several possibilities nearby. We will be happy to tell you where to shop during your stay.
Does the residence have rooms without architectural barriers?
Yes, the residence is accessible and we have a room totally free of architectural barriers.
It is possible to add a third bed in the rooms
No, we chose to design the structure for an adult audience without the possibility of extra beds in the rooms.

What are the cancellation terms?
It is possible to cancel your stay up to 7 days in advance, but the deposit will be retained. For subsequent cancellations, the full amount of the stay is required.

Check-in should preferably be at 3 p.m., check out by 12 p.m.
